Excellent question! Hearing aids are for anyone with hearing loss, so being a musician does not limit your options from what’s available.
In my experience, musicians prefer hearing aids with the best sound quality and are more satisfied with premium level technology. Be sure to confirm with the hearing professional whether or not a hearing aid has features/settings specifically designed for music. Recently, I have received positive feedback from numerous patients (including musicians) about the sound quality with Starkey’s new Livio AI 2400 hearing aids.
