I'm comparing the Linx 3D with the Linx 2 and only see a few differences: IOS 10m v. IOS8.2; binaural directionality III v. II; remote mic (the 2 has Unite Mini Micorphone, 3 does not); smartphone app (3D app, v. Smart and Relief App). Explain?

One of the biggest differences between LiNX 2 and LiNX 3D is the ability to receive help remotely from an audiologist via the ReSound Smart 3D app. Resound and Signia (with their Pure 13 BT) are the only two hearing aid manufacturers that have released products capable of being adjusted remotely. If you aren't interested in this functionality, you might consider saving a little money and purchasing the LiNX 2. Also, you may want to check out this white paper on Binaural Directionality III
