If you look at Apple's official made-for-iPhone (MFi) compatible device list you will see that the ReSound Cala is not listed. The only Kirkland Signature device listed as MFi is the KS 6.0. Having said that, I'm not entirely sure whether Apple's guide is updated. If you take a look at ReSound's Cala guide, you will find the following: "You can personalize your listening experience with the ReSound Smart™ app, and connect with your world thanks to direct streaming from your iPhone®." I speculated before that the ReSound Cala is similar to the Resound LiNX2, and if you check Apple's MFi guide, you will find the LiNX2 listed under ReSound.

Thank you... I purchased the Cala and yes, it is a "made for iPhone" instrument. I use both the ReSound app and the iPhone features. So far I'm very pleased with it, although I find all digital aids sound a bit "tinny." Maybe the dispenser will be able to adjust that for me.

Thank you. I did purchase the Cala instruments and yes, I can adjust them with either the iPhone or the ReSound app. So far I'm very happy with them, except that they sound a bit "tinny" as I suppose most digital aids do. Maybe the dispenser can adjust that for me.
