Does the Resound LiNX2 have a hands-free capability of talking on iPhone without bringing the iPhone up to the mouth?

It absolutely does, but requires the Phone Clip+. The Linx2 allows audio through the iPhone wirelessly, but still requires you to use the microphone of the iPhone. The Phone Clip+ becomes the microphone. It additionally allows you to make program changes, volume changes, mute functionality, and answering/rejecting an incoming phone call.

Only if you use the Bluetooth Clip. They use the microphone in the cellular phone, so you need to have the phone somewhere near your mouth when you talk. I have a pair of Linx 962's in both custom and RIC.

Yes, the microphones in the hearing aids serves as the mic for the phone, so there is no need to hold the phone to your mouth.
