The iPhone connects directly to the Oticon Opn platform for phone calls and music and has streaming to both ears. For phone calls, you still have to use the mouth piece of your phone for the person on the other end to hear you. With Android, you can use the app but you cannot audio stream directly from your phone to the devices. You can be completely hands free with either Android or iPhone with the addition of the ConnectClip that you attach to your shirt or collar.

Both Android devices and Apple products work equally with the OPN platform.  The iPhone connects directly to the phone while Android products require the use of an accessory which is quite small. We have patients connected both ways with success.

Oticon Opn is best suited for use with the iPhone platform, however an optional interface device will allow the aids to be used for both iPhone and Android.  The hearing aids will stream sound from your devices essentially allowing your hearing aids to act as headphones. With the use of the Oticon ON App you have a wide range of control over how the hearing aids perform. It can also help you locate your hearing aids should you misplace them. Other accessories allow you to have audio stream from you TV and sound producing devices.
