Doctor of Audiology
I am an experienced Audiologist with a speciality in adult rehabilitation and hearing technology. Throughout my career I have worked in many different settings including clinical audiology, as a technical specialist and sales manager for three different hearing aid companies, in management for a large clinical audiology network and in a public hospital setting.
I gained my Master’s degree in Audiology from the University of Massachusetts in 1995 and completed my AuD, Doctor of Audiology, in 2015. I am a current member of the New Zealand Audiological Society with a Certificate of Clinical Competence. I am qualified to do all New Zealand funding work such as ACC, War Pensions and Enable Hearing Aid Subsidy.
I set up my own practice in 2015, originally with A1 Hearing and in 2018 took over full ownership of the clinic. I also do Locum Audiology work at the North Shore Hospital. I love being an owner/operator as it means I can make decisions on the spot, and do the right thing for every individual client. I am passionate about helping people hear well and love using the best of today's technology solutions to help you feel more confident, independent and love your hearing again. Less
