ReSound Verso Reviews

Hearing aid reviews are fundamentally different from reviews for most other consumer electronic products. The reason is because individual factors, like degree of hearing loss, have a profound effect one's success and overall satisfaction with the product. When purchasing a hearing aid, you'll need to consider more than just your hearing outcome. Hearing aids are manufactured with varying levels of quality; some hearing aids are extremely durable, while others suffer frequent breakage. Battery life also varies between models, and manufacturer predictions of battery life are often optimistic. By collecting feedback from consumers, we can get a better idea of real world product durability and battery life... Continue reading

Works well when correct; fine tuned. Later aids have more functionality but are not a great leap forward in performance

I purchased these from Costco. It did take a while getting familiar with these units. Now I think they are great.

I have been using the resound verso 5 and like it alot, although I feel my hearing Dr. Hasn't given me all the info concerning the device. She was reluctant to even tell me how to use the volume control, until I convinced her it was necessary for me and I have experience in using hearing aids before. I would like to know in my device is able to use wireless accessories like a remote, etc.. As she adjusted my device from the computer, which led me to think it is wireless, but she said no and I have no specific info concerning that. If so I would like a remote. Other than that the device itself has performed well .a couple of times it just shut off for no reason with no warning then came back on. But hasn't done it for a while now. I think it may have a battery problem. Overall I am satisfied with the device.

I'm sure these aids will work well when I finally get them tweaked. Right now the high frequencies are set way too high. That Hershey's kisses commercial during the Christmas holidays will cause the HAs to bust into feedback. Speech intelligibility is definitely improved. My Sennheiser headphones work FAR better than these HAs for listening to the tv.

The natural sounding of the aids is really amazing (open fit) It gives much confidence, that I can hear very well in most hearing situations The aids are very comfortable - I just forget that they are on Aids are very small and so hard to notice for others Bluetooth connectivity is great, but sometimes there are problems with the signal I experience some feedback sometimes, especially if something gets close to my ears Compared to my Starkey Soundlens the Versos definitely ensure better hearing experience & preformance.

The audiologist is as or more important than the hearing aid selected
