Constant cutting off for no reason. Wire gets stretched. I am on the 3rd set since January. First was broke since day one. Second amplifier broke.

Current one is 3rd set and all it does is cut off for no reason..no loud sounds when it happens.  I'll yawn and it'll kick off

Ive worn top of the line Siemens CIC HA for 20 years, the Pure NX is my 3rd pair.
After wearing a loaner pair for 2 months I had to have these. From its phone app, blue tooth streaming, sound quality, directional control, comfort, I cant begin to list all I like - but my fav is streaming music while having a conversation.
I streamed music 10 hours one day and after a 12 - 13 hr day, still had battery life.

Going from a CIC to behind the ear is very remarkable in terms of comfort. Also with the CIC I constanly had to reach up and change channels until I could find one that best met my environment at the time. With Pure I may have to increase the volume 2 - 4 times a day as it does takes care of the rest.

Hard for me to gauge but speech sound clarity didn't seem as sharp as the Phonak Marvels I had trialed earlier. However it is great with not driving me crazy with background noise. The ball-shaped attachment for the domes is great for getting a comfortable angle sitting in the ear canal, however that limits you to their one option of dome shape (which can be open or closed and different sizes, but they are all the same shape and material) and are not interchangeable with any other brand. They're fairly comfortable but I am very very sensitive and would have liked more options for the material of the domes. I have the streamline bluetooth device and I find that it works very well - expensive add-on  and something else to charge and carry around, as opposed to Phonak that connects directly from the hearing aid, but at least the function is good and it's fairly compact. So... I kind of wish I had stayed with Phonak (I switched because of the background ambient noise issues) but there are definitely advantages with this one too, especially if you're not super sensitive to domes and especially if you use iOS devices that work with the bluetooth.

Very unreliable. The small wires connecting the speaker to the BTE break regularly. Have replaced each side several times. The TV streamer is very unreliable too. Often it requires me to re-pair and reboot the phone and the streamer before I can get a connection. Battery life is very short. Support is completely incompetent. Stay away!

I only wear one aid because I only have one ear that works. Just got this aid when my former one got wet and failed (oops). The new one has a Bluetooth streaming option. Wasn't sure at first if I wanted that upgrade but I am soooo glad I sprung for the extra cost. First, I considered all the things that beep, buzz or sing to me AND had Bluetooth. To date, I have connected my aid to my Smartphone, my car (Apple CarPlay) and my Mac Book. Suddenly the beeps, buzzes and songs pipe directly into my head and the improved clarity is amazing. My suggestion to app suppliers is that they add some kind of visual indicator when the app makes a noise so I know I am supposed to hear something.

They continually chirped and hissed at first. After three appointments and a change of technicians, they are finally starting to work OK. As far as quality, they are the best hearing aid I have ever used, but they need to be configured correctly. That is finally happening, albeit it may take another appointment or two. As far as reviewing the provider, if they are not configured correctly I would only give them 1 star! Stupid statement by Signia!!

Overall satisfied with form and fit. Performance is severely limited by the battery life. Usage between charges lasts about fourteen hours. Unsatisfactory for a traveler or an extended work day. Signia solution on inquiry was to either by a ‘pocket charger’ or ‘quick charge’ (30 minute) on standard charger during the day.

Replaced first generation rechargable (8 years old) with Charge&Go 7Nx. Only had them for a week so I am still getting use to them. I have molds which I really like better than domes. Much more secure. I wish I could use these stand-a-lone for android phone as you can for iphone. That would be a big plus. I really like the tv streaming. Now my wife doesn't complain about how loud the tv is anymore. Also with my hearing aids in I can't say I didn't hear you dear!

I am wearing the new CROS model, which has made me aware of how much I was I missing on my left side! I can receive all of the sound that is happening on the left, which is transferred to my better ear on the right side. This transition was smooth, and I can even hear whispers in my ears from my kids that I couldn't hear before. Priceless! Also, no more batteries!!!

My hearing loss was gradual. Wearing the Signia hearing aids for the first in years I heard birds sing. A small thing but life-changing. I can hear at the movies again, listen to TV without blasting the sound and can even hear in noisy places. My charge N go work with me for about 12 hours a day. they are amazing. You will be glad you did. As a talk show host, I couldn't work without my Signia Charge N Go.Thank you Signia! If you ever thought you might have a hearing problem, that your family has asked you to have your hearing checked - run to the nearest Signia professional.

Have had for about 9 months. First time user so I have no comparison. They seem like they get the job done with the very big exception of the bluetooth phone app which will not hold a setting. Every day, multiple times a day, I have to constantly reset the application setting. It's the only way to effectively limit background noise. I would never buy again or recommend for this reason. Given the expense, and Signia's name I don't understand the lack of attention to this. If you read the google application reviews, it's a repeated complaint. In addition, there were repeated snags in the rebate until I finally gave up. Really wish I had turned them back in the 30 days!!.

The hearing aids are remarkable in that the sound is so much more natural. Previous hearing aids have been Phonak titanium and Widex. I have hearing loss in the high rang very mild but struggle hearing female voices. The widex I ended up having the hearing aid turned up a little over my prescription where the sound was a little unnatural but managed to have crisp clean hearing in most circumstances. These hearings aids seem to manage much better at my prescription and the low clanging noises from kitchen and resteraunts are not as much of an issue. The sound is much richer and natural which I really like. Things I don't like as other wearers are sound in wind is very noisy and rustly rather than squeaking. The bluetooth streaming seems sounds seems to bottom out. It sounds like a broken speaker also when listening to answerphone the sound is distorted..

These are my first pair of hearing aid. My hearing loss is in the low tone noise. Signia has done a good job on the appearance as well as the software interface. Less than a week with hearing aids--still adjusting. Could hear female & children's voices better without the hearing aids. Hear male/low frequency voices slightly better with them. The phone and radio are the areas where I feel is the most improved with hearing aids. Not happy about the amplification of low frequency noise (HVAC systems, appliances, etc).

These are my first hearing aids, so I didn't really know what to expect. However, they work great. No real problems. I like the convenience of recharge ability. Big improvement in hearing/understanding TV. Have been able to turn off the captions (except for British detective shows, which no-one can understand anyway). Only (minor) issue is hearing conversation in noisy environments. My provider has made some adjustments that have definitely improved things. But I think he needs to increases the amplification of the the person in front of me a little more. I don't think this will be an issue. I like the MyControl app. It allows me the freedom to make adjustments on the go. Also, being able to monitor what has happened over the course of the day does provide some additional insight. An Apple Watch version of the app would be great. Overall, very pleased. Would definitely recommend them. Note: With regard to questions below, need to provide an answer to "How long have you been wearing hearing aids?" that is "< 1 year". Also, for the "How many days do your batteries last?" need to add "N/A - Rechargeable"

Put them on and leave them alone. They are AUTOMATIC and MUSIC to my ears I had my hearing tested and fitted at the Hospital Clinic and have been wearing my Signia/Siemens for a little over a month. ease of flexibility in adjustment is not present in mobile app. if improved it will truly support entire rane of deafness. more over siemens should cover fitting range from 20db to 80 db full range since not covering fitting software assuming incomplete audiogram and fitting accordingly.got 7nx initial impression with previous HA (orion) that hardware improvement its capable for distance voice catchup. but my low freq.(special fitting) loss doesn't allow such talkings transient noise management in real life not so powerfull but acceptale to me cafe preset is somewhat working in noise still difficult to talk group conversation good for speech understanding but not upto mark due to other noise. review about app iphone app works without problem. android upto 5-7 day works but then sudden crashes more often. and for connecting i have to put HA on screen which not issue with iphone. and app lakes adjustment like equilizer speech and noise management strength tranisent strength in various programs like resound. basically i am wearing double doom hence cant comment on ovp feature. sicne company approve that feature with close moulds. overall not over helmed with nx

Streaming quality is excellent, with exception of clicking sound, but thsat is an Apple issue, not a HA issue. (I have worn four different MFi Hearing Aids and used several different iPhones, the clicking sound in audio persists across all four brands). Own Voice processing is a plus, I like it. Motion sensing doesn't seem to do much for me. myControl app is OK, could use some UI improvement. There is a lot more info available than other apps I have used (Oticon ON, ReSound, Earlens) but the bare bones controls you need should be easier to access (and quicker, it is a pretty slow app to load).
Member
Interesting to hear that the clicking sound seems to be across all brands. If I get the noise when on a call now, I simply put my apple watch into airplane mode and it stops immediately. Re: the app I have found that I use it a lot less than expected since I can use the rocker switch on one hearing aid for changing programs and the other for changing volume. Overall I like them very much

I have Starkey Halo 2 aids and I get the clicking sound too. Sometimes within minutes of turning on the Apple Watch. Starkey told me yesterday that Apple told them the problem will be fixed in IOS12. Let's hope they weren't jiving them.

These hearing aids were a replacement for some very old Phonak hearing aids, basically because I don't buy new ones regularly and wanted Bluetooth as well as the other latest and greatest features. I also wanted something with 312 size batteries because I want the hearing aids to be as unobtrusive as possible. I have now been wearing them daily for 3 months and have gotten to know them quite well - Comments (in no particular order): - The hearing aids are very comfortable. I use them with the 'tulip' earpieces, which allow some external sound in. I tried some of the other 'sealed' earpieces to get more bass when streaming music, but frankly this doesn't make much difference and I find the sealed earpieces make sound seem unnatural while feeling like I have something stuck in my ear. The 'tulip' earpieces are so unobtrusive I forget I am wearing them. - I love the streaming from my iPhone. It's reliable and clear and works for both phone calls as well as music. It would be nice to have more bass, but the music is very 'precise' in sound and you tend to choose music that doesn't need a thumping bass. It's cool to be able to take conference calls with the phone in your pocket on mute where the sound is just 'around you' without thinking about wearing any kind of headset. It would be nice if there was a microphone solution (supposedly there will be soon) but it just means that if you want to speak you put your phone in your hand like a mic and speak into it, while leaving it on mute when not talking. As someone who spends many hours on calls it is a great feature. Being able to walk around with music just playing in your head is also very cool. Two things to think about on this: 1. Get the Signia streaming device for your TV - Don't think about it, just get it - It's great. No more getting yelled at by the wife for having the TV too loud - in fact I can walk anywhere in the house and still hear the program that is playing on the TV crystal clear. It's kinda spooky to go out to a restaurant for dinner (having had the hearing aids set for the TV streamer before I left), then hear the TV suddenly start speaking in my head when I am back in the driveway within Bluetooth range. After years of struggling, hearing speech on the TV is suddenly not an issue 2. I occasionally had an issue with a repetitive 'clicking' sound when on the phone or listening to music from my iPhone, which Signia said was probably interference from some other Bluetooth device. To find the source of the problem I systematically disconnected every Bluetooth device from my iPhone in 'Settings' without success, but eventually figured it out: Even with all Bluetooth devices disconnected in 'Settings' on the phone, I realized that my Apple Watch still had a connection and sure enough, when putting my Apple Watch into Airplane mode, the clicking stopped... Every manufacturer seems to have some kind of Bluetooth issue whether connectivity or clicking - I can honestly say that the connectivity is fantastic, and that if I have an issue with clicking (which only happens every now and then) I just put my watch in Airplane mode and the clicking stops The iPhone remote control program is great, with the ability to target certain areas (in front, sides etc), access other programs and control volume all from my iPhone. I will say, however that I have gotten into the habit of just using the rocker switches on the hearing aids instead as they are right there. Right one for choosing a program and left one for volume. There will be a program around Q1 2018 whereby the audiologist will be able to make remote changes to the settings of the hearing aids, which is another feature I am looking forward to I use these in both quiet and noisy environments and there are very few situations where I find it hard to hear what folks are saying I only get two days battery life, which is the price you pay for streaming plus 'unobtrusive', but when I can get 48 batteries from Costco for $8, this is really not a concern for me. I keep spares everywhere Bottom line - I like the sound and the streaming is a game changer. Strongly recommended Keith

Keith, thanks so much for sharing your notes, the popping during bluetooth was driving me nuts, but then I read your advice and disconnected my bluetooth watch, and the popping went away instantly! I'm still getting used to all the functionality so I'll have to look into the different programs as well. I've been sticking to "universal" since I got them a few weeks ago. I am getting the streamline mic for a mic during bluetooth calls (I have a lot of phone / video conferencing) and I am considering the TV accessory too. Do you find that the audio perfectly matches with the TV accessory and can you still hear the TV noise? -Mark

The TV streamer works perfectly. I usually leave the volume up at a 'wife reasonable' volume, which means I get a little extra background bass to deepen the TV sound, but the hearing aids give me the clear voice dialogue that I really needed. If the family is reading and don't want to hear the TV I can simply turn the sound down on the TV and just hear the program in my hearing aids, which is fine too. If someone talks to me while streaming I can hear them, and have the option of turning down the streaming if needed using the app I would be interested to hear your impression of the Streamline mic when you get it. I too spend a lot of time on calls (particularly Skype) and figure this would be a better solution than having to hold the phone like a microphone all the time

I brought these HA home 2 weeks ago. So far I am very impressed with their performance. I previously had a pair of Siemens Aquaris 701 with miniTek that I had for the last 6 years and had grown unhappy with their performance. The Pure 13 HA's are pure joy with one exception, Bluetooth. The sound quality of the Pure 13's is exceptional. The presets are great. We did tweek them a bit when I picked them up at the first fitting. The Bluetooth streaming worked great the first few days. Then bugs started showing up. Sometimes during a phone call (streamed from iPhone) one ear cuts out. Often I hear a clicking during the call. I purchased the TV streamer which works well except it losses connection with one or both ears occasionally. Sometimes I hear a rhythmic clicking in one ear (click click pause click click repeat). Normally a reset (reboot) of the HA corrects the problem. On two occasions, I had to delete the pairing with my phone and with the TV streamer. I went back to see my Audiologist a few days ago. He called Siemens directly and we talked with tech support. Tech support didn't have much to offer except that they had heard of these issues before. One tech said that they had contacted Apple who said the clicking 'might' be an issue of iOS. No real resolution except what I am already doing: reboot, unpair, do it all again. I have 30 days to return these HA's for a full refund. I am seriously thinking about returning these HA as Bluetooth streaming was (is) very important to me. Receiving calls is imperative, streaming TV is great (no subtitles) and streaming media from my phone is really cool. If I do return these, what else should I look for. I have found that it is very hard to find good unbiased reviews. Most reviews that I've read are obviously biased toward a particular brand/model.

I've had these for about four weeks now, and am quite disappointed for these reasons: 1) The iPhone Bluetooth streaming does not work well, unless you keep the iPhone right between the two ears. If you keep it in the side pocket of a fanny pack, the sound will pop in and out of the far ear. 2) The connection to the iPhone via the My Control app is very buggy. I keep getting a message that the iPhone has lost connection to one of the aids, and I frequently have to turn the Bluetooth on and off to restore the connection. 3) While I don't get the whistling in the wind sound that I've gotten with previous aids, I do get a very annoying rustling sound in the wind. For these reasons, I'll be returning my aids to Signia.

I finally caved in and got my first set of HA's and am blown away. I can't imagine any brand or model being better. The bluetooth feature is simply amazing for phones and music as well as adjustment (iPhone6). I'm a retired Major from a big city fire department and having listened to sirens at a busy station for 27 years has caused a deafening case of tinnitus from which these have been a huge relief. I really like the app as well as the tinnitus app. I'm hearing sounds I haven't heard in years and the tinnitus, ah, it's not a biggie now.

I have Signia 312Nx7 since autumn 2018. I have IPhone 7 At the beginning my Hearing Aid worked fine - even myControl app. I liked it very much. Then suddenly in December the Voice Active Tracking stopped. It happened at the same time as new version of Control app was taken into use.

The problem has been tried to solve by every possible ways, but any kind reason have  been found.  The importer in Finland has not got any answer from Sivantos, but they have not helped us

Has anybody Elise have same kind of problems with Voice Active Tracking

Yes trialing them now there are problems,  with big chunks of days missing on the data log. I really want to like these but the BT connection is sketchy.

I have recently purchased a Purecharge and go nx 7 and a Cros Pure 312 nx for single sided hearing.  I am experiencing my aids shutting off for no reason.  Usually they don’t shut completely off, but are at such a low level of amplification, I can’t hear anything.  Have had Signia change them out for new ones, but still happening.  I’d love to make these aids work!

I agree.. I place the phone near the hearing aid on my bad side and it turns off or is intermittent ..low.. High.. Or off.

2nd week of a trial 312 NX7 I want to love these but the BT connection is intermittant.

The BT connection is needed for the Activity Tracking but the APP does not need to be open, the phone must be in range 30' or less.

Powered up the aid 2 times and one aid did not connect to the phone and showed 0 Battery life . Turned BT on and off to fix.  Possibly there may not be activity showing if the aids were not actively functioning in a quiet environment .

It appears all aid manufacturers have intermittent BT in common.

Read their various reviews on the Apple APP stores, eg Widex, Phonak, Oticon etc.
