Siemens Ace binax 7bx
Tremendously expensive just to get a reasonable level of control over its configuration. If a truly reasonable remote control that actually worked reliably and easily were available, I could have just as well used hearing aids that cost a third as much. Why do hearing aid companies work so hard on implementing the latest proprietary non-compatible protocol, while at the same time ignoring a remote control program whose usability is so poor that it's effectively useless? (Note that my answers are for this _third_ set of hearing aids. The first two sets did not work reliably and were eventually returned to the manufacturer, who then simply replaced them.)
