Dr. Weissman was recommended by my primary care physician. I had researched other options such as Costco and felt I wanted an audiologist not a technician to administer the hearing tests and not a hearing technician. I also felt that a private practice could assist me in finding the best possible match for my hearing aids. I have excellent medical coverage and felt that the costs of the hearing aids would be sufficiently covered. It was. I was very pleased with the service and customer care.

Dr. Weissmann is very knowledgeable and professional. His office is conveniently located and Stephanie was very helpful with appointment check in. He was able to fix a technical issue with my hearing aid on site the same day. Lee called me back after hours to make sure I got in to see him. It's great having someone with knowledge and integrity right here local.

Dr. Weissman is a graduate of the consistently top-ranked Vanderbilt Medical School Doctor of Audiology program. His training included clinical experience at Nashville’s Veteran’s Health Administration Medical Center and at a private audiology practice working with both children and adults. Before opening his practice in San Rafael, Dr. Weissman held the chief audiologist position at a four-physician ear, nose, and throat practice in Oakland. He also helped manage a retail-based hearing aid center in Marin County.
Prior to entering the audiology field, Dr. Weissman earned degrees in electrical engineering and biomedical engineering. His rigorous engineering training prepared him to work as a software developer, product designer and manager for several major medical device companies in Silicon Valley. His extensive knowledge of acoustics, electronics, and medical instrumentation offers his patients a valuable edge. He is better prepared to understand the technical features of digital hearing aids and to select and adjust devices to best suit his patients’ needs.

I have been wearing hearing aids for ten years and decided to find a new audiologist. Dr. Weissman provided the most complete diagnostic hearing test I’ve ever had, and knew I was in good hands. I purchased new hearing aids and am able to hear better then I have in years. Dr. Weissman is knowledgeable and dedicated to giving his patients the best hearing experience possible.

I thought he was the best AuD that I have had. I'm hearing better than I have heard in a very long time. He made suggestions about the hearing aids I should purchase for my hearing loss and was very patient.

Dr. Weissman has gone out of his way to answer all of my questions and guide me to the right answers for me and my specific hearing loss. I am considering a cochlear implant in one ear and he has been kind enough to help with my assessment when I get my testing done at the surgical facility that specializes in CI. I still have hearing aids and he was amazing at detecting a problem another hearing aid office missed - or messed up on - and he fixed it. While I am still under warranty through another hearing aid company/fitting office, I know I will return to Dr. Weissman when I need to get fitted for a new pair or just one if I go for a CI.

Lee is a regular guy with whom I communicated well. He did what he said he would do which I value highly. He follows up. He is accessabile. I would recommend Lee to my friends. In fact I have done so.

Dr. Weissman is a very caring and kind doctor. He is also knowledgeable and patient. He explained everything and helped me make a decision on which hearing aids would benefit me the most. I'm very pleased with his services and love my hearing aids.
