Anne Carter and her staff are fantastic. I honestly have never had a better audiologist in the 30+ years I've been wearing hearing aids. Anne's careful and precise skills have worked wonders for my particularly difficult case and she's also just incredibly nice. I've always been able to get an appointment quickly and my messages are always returned promptly. If you are looking for a talented audiologist with a friendly and efficient staff absolutely go here.

I have tested and returned at least 3 or 4 pairs of hearing aids over the past 10 to 15 years because generally they did not address my problems with tinnitus and I felt they were too expensive for what little help they provided. I finally decided to go to Dr. Anne Carter, a certified audiologist, who was referred to me by several friends. I am in love with my new Phonak aids and feel they have added a tremendous difference to my hearing out in public and in social events. I highly recommend Pasadena Hearing Care. Dr. Carter is easy to talk to, down to earth and her staff is the same. I definitely give them a 5-star review!

I was hesitant to go for a hearing exam because I was pretty certain that I needed hearing aids but didn't want to admit it. On my very first visit to Pasadena Hearing Care Dr. Carter and her staff were all very welcoming and helpful. They convinced me that they genuinely cared about me and the quality of my life, not just my technical hearing scores. I have had my Re-Sound hearing aids for a month now and it has been life changing. I can hear the crickets at night again. Pasadena Hearing Care was founded in 2012 by Dr. Anne Carter. Dr. Carter worked in hospital settings and with ENT physician practices before opening her own practice. She has been working in the South Pasadena, Florida area for over 12 years.

Dr. Carter has over 20 years of experience working with individuals with hearing problems. She spent 5 years as a research Audiologist studying how hearing changes with age, how the ears work together to process sound, and how to improve speech understanding in noise. Dr. Carter has authored and co-authored 13 journal articles, 5 book chapters, and has presented at nearly 20 professional conferences. She moved to Florida in 2000. In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Carter has taught at the University of South Florida.
Dr. Carter resides in Treasure Island with her husband Troy and 16-year old daughter Emily. Troy is a realtor and also owns and operates Sweets and Treats, an ice cream and candy store on Gulf Boulevard in Treasure Island.

Highly professional and attentive. Dr Carter recommended ReSound hearing aids which are the first that truly help me. Dr Carter expertly programmed them and introduced me to a TV pairing device that allows me to set the volume where I am comfortable while allowing others watching to set it where they are comfortable. 5 stars for sure.

Anne Carter is an audiologist who has created a vibrant, knowledgeable and attentive office that addresses each patient with talented staff who listen well and respond appropriately whether during an office visit, on the telephone or via texts. I cannot recommend this practice highly enough. Having worn hearing aids for 9 years, the last 2 1/2 with Pasadena Hearing Care have been nothing but exceptional. From repairing and updating my previous "ears" to facilitating my purchase of new ones, the entire staff made the transition and learning curve smooth and flawless. I rate them 10 out of 10!! After visiting with several other audiologists, I was so happy to discover Dr. Carter and her team in 2009 when I first developed a need for a hearing aid. Over the last 12 years, she has consistently proven to be skilled, attentive, personable, knowledgeable, professional, and even considerate of my financial limitations. She stays abreast of the latest research and developments in hearing care. She chooses employees well and trains her staff in compassionate care for all patients. Visits to her office are always pleasant and she is on-time for appointments. I drive over an hour to receive her care and hope I never have to switch to a closer provider!

Anne was just wonderful. She took time to explain to me what programming in addition to the needed upgrade that were available for my hearing aids. She changed out pieces that were needed. She allowed me to "practice" what I needed to do to activate the Noise and TV Listening programs and sent me home with instructions. The charge for my hearing test and all the programming and attention Anne gave me was a penance compared to the prices I have experienced with the "big name" hearing aid providers. I cannot recommend Anne and the staff at Pasadena Hearing enough.

Dr. Anne is wonderful. She's so knowledgeable and she listens to you. She's very personable and caring. I would never go anywhere else. I was extremely impressed with her quick recognition of an anomaly of my ear canal. I don't remember the name. This anomaly was overlooked by my previous audiologist, which would explain why the hearing aid the other person gave me wouldn't fit. I would highly recommend Dr. Anne Carter to everyone.
