Live Better Hearing audiologist, Dr. Leeb, wants to know how we are doing every step of the way to get properly adjusted to our hearing aids. She helps to alter what needs to be altered to adjust the hearing aids to suit our needs. I like the fact that she wants to have an appointment regularly and explains everything we want to know. She is very personable and professional. We enjoy working with her. And we recommend Live Better Hearing to all our MD friends.

I was able to call in the morning and schedule an appointment for mid-day (same day) at the Gaithersburg, MD office! I met with Dr. Cushing and I told her the issue I had with my left hearing aid. She is very friendly and easy to talk with, showing concern and interest in helping me with my hearing aid issue. She tested the hearing aid components and diagnosed the problem quickly. Dr. Cushing also checked my ears for any wax build-up – there was none. She seemed very knowledgeable and thorough in both her diagnosis, testing and repair of my hearing aid. She even made sure my Phonak app recognized both hearing aids. I would definitely recommend this practice and Dr. Cushing for any issues with your hearing aid.

I needed some adjustments to my hearing aid settings and Cindy was able to make those updates perfectly on the first attempt :) They are quick, precise, and friendly. I highly reccomend them!

I went to Live Better Hearing for the first time last month for a hearing aid evaluation. I had no idea what to expect, as a first time hearing aid candidate. The process was very smooth from the initial assessment by Dr. Leeb, to selecting and ordering the best device for my needs , to purchasing the device and then having the device adjusted and fitted. Everything was explained in-depth and follow-up visits were encouraged to sort out any issues with my device that may come up. Dr. Leeb and her staff are very professional and friendly, making the experience stress-free. I highly recommend Live Better Hearing in Montgomery Village, MD, for your hearing aid needs.

Our office in Montgomery Village was our very first office. This location has served the people in Montgomery County since the 1980s with their hearing care needs. We are pleased to have Dr. Cindy Leeb as our primary audiologist here as she is not only an amazing audiologist with expertise in hearing technology and diagnostic testing, but she is also a genuine person, always with a smile on her face.

Dr. Cindy Leeb received her Doctorate in Audiology from Northwestern University in Chicago. She completed her graduate and clinical rotations throughout the Chicago area at locations such as Suburban Hearing Services, Specialized Audiology Services, Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital, and Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Her clinical externship year was completed at the Hearing and Speech Agency in Baltimore, Maryland. She completed her graduate capstone project titled “Retention by New Hearing Aid Users of Hearing Aid and Audiologic Information” to create a better way to present information to patients who are experiencing hearing aids for the first time.
Dr. Leeb is passionate about helping her patients from diagnosis through follow-up care. She understands that every patient’s needs are different and strives to create an environment where each patient feels comfortable and cared-for. She joined Live Better Hearing in 2015 as the provider in the Elkridge office and is currently the provider in the Rockville office. Dr. Leeb is licensed by the Maryland Board of Examiners for Audiologists. In her free time she enjoys baking for family and friends.
