RK Audiology - Westlake

Paula Rivers is an audiologist, founder and co-owner of RK Audiology. She grew up in Mineral Wells, TX, shooting guns, riding motorcycles, operating heavy equipment and listening to loud music. This early noise exposure was all without protecting her ears, giving an extra appreciation for the importance of wearing hearing protection.

Paula received her Bachelor of Science in Communication and Human Relations, with a minor in Radio/Television/Film from Texas Christian University and graduated cum laude. Paula earned a second Bachelor of Science degree, this time in speech-language pathology from Texas Woman’s University and her Masters of Science in Audiology from the University of North Texas.

Paula has a fascination with the anatomy and physiology of the ear and is an early adopter of all the latest tech. She specializes in customized hearing instrument fittings. She works with musicians and recreational sports enthusiasts to find the best solutions for custom in-ear monitors and hearing protection.

When not at RK, Paula may be found playing with her pup, strumming her ukulele or guitar, riding her bike and finding the sunshine.

Victoria Villarreal, AuD, graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in December of 2019 with her Doctorate of Audiology. She previously received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Theatre and Dance in 2016, graduating with the highest honors from The University of Texas at Austin.

Dr. Villarreal (Dr. V) is a University Lecturer, currently teaching Amplifying Systems in Aural Rehab to Audiology Doctoral students at The University of Texas at Austin.

Dr. V is highly knowledgeable in the fitting, programming, and service of the latest hearing technology, and is a Certified Lyric Hearing Provider. She is skilled at finding the best custom-fit options for musicians and music lovers.

Originally from Burnet, TX, Dr. V has enjoyed making Austin her home. In her free time, she enjoys taking ballet classes and listening to live music around the Austin area with her husband.

Dr. Villarreal joined the RK Audiology team in June 2019.

Venessa Rector is the Office Manager on our RK team. She is the voice when you call and the person who greets you when you arrive – in addition to keeping RK running smoothly!

Venessa joined the RK team in July of 2015. She has a depth of knowledge to assist in troubleshooting hearing aid connectivity challenges. She is adept at hearing aid device clean & checks and custom earpiece fittings.

Venessa has a background in marketing, and a curiosity to learn new things. She attended the Occupational Hearing Conservation training through CAOHC to understand the field of hearing conservation and the profession of audiology.

When not at RK, Venessa enjoys date nights with her husband, listening to local music around town, and relaxing at nearby lakes with the family.

Anthony (Tony) Milesi was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. He attended Ball State University and holds his doctorate in Audiology.

Tony is easygoing and takes his time with each client to ensure all questions have been answered and the client’s hearing potential has been reached.

He specializes in-ear monitor options for musicians and those looking for customized recreational sports solutions for hearing protection and to optimize their hearing. 

Tony provides best practices in the fitting, programming, and service for all the latest hearing technology. 

Tony joined the RK team In June 2021.

Tracy Seeger, originally from Wisconsin, moved to Austin in 1989 to attend the University of Texas and continue her violin studies, which she began at the age of 7. At 17, she became the youngest tenured member of the Austin Symphony and later earned her Master of Music degree. During her graduate studies, Tracy was one of the founding members of the Tosca Tango Orchestra and Tosca String Quartet.

Tracy’s musical talents have taken her around the world, touring extensively with David Byrne of the Talking Heads and recording on numerous studio projects. She is also first violinist and owner of Barton Strings, a well-known Austin-based string ensemble that has played at countless special events, weddings and alongside numerous artists, including Christopher Cross and Harry Connick Jr.

In addition to her musical pursuits, Tracy is a trusted real estate agent with extensive knowledge of Austin and excellent interpersonal skills. She is committed to helping people find their dream homes while providing exceptional service.

With her unique skills and qualities, including her lifelong background in music, dedication to promoting sound health, and communication skills with clients, Tracy is a welcome addition to the RK team. You will find Tracy working alongside Dr. Tony Milesi at our RK South location.

Maddy was born and raised in Cedar Creek, Texas. She has received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a specialization in Audiology from The University of Texas at Austin where she is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Audiology.

Maddy is the newest member of the RK team. She comes from a family of entrepreneurs, understands the value of supporting local business, and has a strong interest in private practice.
