Widex SUPER Reviews

Hearing aid reviews are fundamentally different from reviews for most other consumer electronic products. The reason is because individual factors, like degree of hearing loss, have a profound effect one's success and overall satisfaction with the product. When purchasing a hearing aid, you'll need to consider more than just your hearing outcome. Hearing aids are manufactured with varying levels of quality; some hearing aids are extremely durable, while others suffer frequent breakage. Fitted with SP (high power) receivers, which are big and obstructing and not very aesthetic. I don't like the feeling of of obstruction, which seems to block very low frequencies from music for example.

Terry S. 07 October 2014

The M-Dex remote control is nice unit, but it is not perfect. There are Bluetooth issues with the iPhone because the M-Dex uses a older version of Bluetooth (version 2). Using the audio cable to connect the mp3 player, computer, TV, radio to the M-Dex streamer, the sounds I hear are not stereo but is mixed channel. The streamer uses a radio frequency signal to the hearing aids to hear the sounds wirelessly. The streamer has to be close to the aids because of the limited range due to the antenna.
