DR. ANN MARIE OLSON has been helping individuals with hearing loss since 2001. As the founder of Sophisticated Hearing in 2005, she is deeply committed to helping individuals with hearing loss. For Ann Marie, being an audiologist is more than a career it is a way to have a positive impact on people's lives. In addition to the time she spends with her patients, Dr. Olson is also Vice President of the Hearing Loss Association of America-NJ (HLAA-NJ). Since 2008 Ann Marie continues to be on the volunteer committees for HLAA-NJ's Annual Walk4Hearing fundraiser and College Scholarships. Dr. Olson is also Vice President of Communications for the NJ Academy of Audiology. Ann Marie received a Doctor of Science Degree in Audiology from Montclair State University. During her graduate studies she held externships at various hospitals in the NY and NJ area, as well as presented research findings at international conferences on auditory processing in young, middle-aged and older adults. Dr. Olson is also an adjunct professor at Montclair State University.
