I have been in the Hearing Aid industry since the mid 80s. i started professionally as a research audiologist and never dreamed I would sell hearing aids but i lived in Wichita, Ks and found myself in need of a better paying job and voila, Beltone was hiring. I worked for the Beltone office in Wichita for 10 years before opening my own Beltone franchise in Tulsa, OK (i grew up in Bartlesville, OK). Beltone and i parted ways after a couple of years, i was independent for 15 years before signing on with Miracle Ear in December 2013. I am adamant that cost alone should NEVER prevent someone from getting the hearing help they need. I will find a way to get hearing help to match a persons ability to pay.
