Heather Little, AuD, CCC-A, was born and raised in San Francisco and joined Summit Hearing Assist, LLC in April of 2015. Dr. Little’s educational preparation began at California State University, Sacramento where she was awarded her Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Speech Pathology and Audiology. Following graduation her next six years were spent in the Sutter and Kaiser Permanente health care systems gaining valuable experience in all aspects of clinical audiology. One of her most rewarding experiences was when she became a licensed hearing aid dispenser and began working in the private practice sector. It was at this point that she was able to truly appreciate how hearing devices can change, enhance and improve a person’s quality of life. Currently Dr. Little is specializing in both adult and pediatric diagnostic testing and amplification. Dr. Little received her doctorate from Salus University, formerly known as Pennsylvania College of Optometry, School of Audiology in June of 2007. She is a certified member of the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association, a fully qualified member of the New Zealand Audiological Society, as well as the California Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Bureau. In her spare time she enjoys practicing yoga, hiking, cooking, skiing, wine tasting, traveling as well as spending time with her family who still reside in San Francisco.
