Irma Cohens has been in the hearing aid industry since July, 2002. She achieved her licensing with the State Board of Hearing Aid Examiners in 2004 and is authorized to practice the fitting and dispensing of hearing aids in the state of Kansas. She continued to pursue the National Competency Exam and received her Board Certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences (BC-HIS), a distinguishing symbol shared by some of the most highly experienced hearing health professionals in the world. This achievement represents her initiative to excel beyond the standard requirements for hearing instrument specialists. Irma is also a qualified member of the International Hearing Society as well as the Kansas Hearing Society. She regularly attends seminars throughout Kansas and the surrounding areas to sharpen her skills and keep up with advancements in technology.
