Kathleen has been an audiologist at the University of Colorado Hearing & Balance Center for 23 years. She received my Master's Degree from the University of Northern Colorado in 1992. Kathleen specializes in vestibular (dizziness & balance) disorders. She is proficient with the following vestibular evaluations: Videonystagmography (VNG), Vestibular-Evoked Myogenic Potentials (cVEMP & oVEMP), Vestibular Head Impulse Testing (vHIT), Auditory-Brainsteme-Response testing (ABR), Electrocochleography (ECoG) and Electroneuronography (ENOG). Kathleen sees both adults and pediatircs with dizziness and balance problems.
Kathleen is also Director of audiology students and externs. We have 2nd & 3rd year audiology students, as well as 4th year graduate clinicians rotating throughout clinic throughout the year. She coordinates students'/externs/ schedules ensuring they receive the most comprehensive clinical experience in all areas of audiology including: adult diagnostics and amplification (including implantables), pediatric diagnostics and amplification, adult and pediatric cochlear amplants, and adult and pediatric vestibular testing.
