Sara Neumann, Au.D., is a clinical audiologist at Hearts for Hearing in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where she works primarily with the pediatric population, but also works with adults who have cochlear implants. Dr. Neumann also serves as a deaf education consultant and educational audiologist for a local school district. She recently co-authored several articles and three separate textbook chapters on pediatric amplification and cochlear implant programming. Dr. Neumann graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Deaf Education from Northern Illinois University in 2003 and obtained her Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) from Illinois State University in 2012. She has previously worked as an educator of the deaf/hard of hearing for six years and an early intervention provider for children with hearing loss. Dr. Neumann's special interests include cochlear implants, electrophysiology, personal RF/FM systems, and working with musicians and hearing conservation in schools of music, drum corps and marching band programs.
