Roanoke Valley Speech and Hearing Center is a non-profit that has been serving the Roanoke Valley and surrounding areas for over 50 years.  In addition to in-house hearing evaluations and hearing aid dispensing, RVSHC provides on-site industrial screenings.

Michelle Ickes, Ph.D. serves as Director of Audiology Services.  Dr. Ickes came to RVSHC in 2008.  Prior to that. she spent over 20 years with the VA. 

Kara Norcross, Au.D. serves as a clinical audiologist.  Dr. Norcross came to RVSHC in 2016.  Prior to that, she spent 8 years at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital, specializing in pediatric audiology.
