Linda Kozma-Spytek, MA, CCC-A, is a technology consultant to the Hearing Loss Association of America and a lead investigator in the Deaf/Hard of Hearing Technology Rehabilitation Engineering Research Center (DHH Tech RERC) at Gallaudet University in Washington, DC. She co-leads the Industry Consumer Alliance for Accessible Technology (ICAAT) project under the auspices of the DHH Tech RERC. Prior to her consulting work, she was a Senior Research Audiologist in the Technology Access Program at Gallaudet University and co-led the DHH Tech RERC. She is an expert in hearing aid compatibility (HAC) for wireless phones and a member of the HAC Task Force, with more than 20 years’ experience in research, standards development, and public policy work on communication access technologies.
