The Over the Counter Hearing Aid Act is the new law of the land, and with the first batch of true OTC hearing aids expected around 2020, America is preparing for a new world of hearing aid affordability and accessibility.

In this this Sunday’s new “Sunday Morning” CBS special, David Pogue takes a deep dive into all things hearing aids – past, present, and future. David explores the cost breakdown associated with hearing aid prices, and explains the value of some of the services you’re actually paying for when you purchase bundled hearing aids.
Pogue also meets with Nicholas Reed (John Hopkins) to discuss some of the current personal sound amplification products (PSAPs) available on the market today, and discusses the future of OTC hearing aids.
