The Oticon Xceed is a powerful behind-the-ear (BTE) hearing aid designed for individuals with severe-to-profound hearing loss, offering up to 146 dB SPL and 87 dB full-on gain. Powered by the Velox S platform with BrainHearing technology, it features OpenSound Navigator for improved speech clarity, iPhone streaming capabilities, and is available in two styles and three technology levels, starting at around $5,000 per pair.
Widex Allure is a rechargeable receiver-in-canal hearing aid powered by a new W1 chip that enables fast and efficient sound processing. It includes features for speech clarity, adaptive feedback control, and automatic sound classification, with further independent testing currently underway.
