2021 Hearing Technology Innovator Awards

Hearing Health & Technology Matters (HHTM), an online resource for hearing professionals and consumers with hearing loss, today announces the opening of the public voting period for the second annual Hearing Technology Innovator Awards™.

Through the annual awards program, HHTM honors technological innovation and achievement in the hearing industry. This year, the program received dozens of entries from companies across the globe.

"We're excited to see so many incredible technologies being showcased in this year's expanded awards program," said Kevin Liebe, AuD, HHTM President and CEO.

Categories and Awards

For 2021, the awards will be conferred in the following categories:

1. Hearing Aids
2. Personal Listening Devices
3. Assistive Technology and Software
4. Service Delivery
5. Equipment
6. Auditory Implants
7. Prevention & Therapeutics

Voting will be open starting today, September 1st, and ending on September 15th. Submissions receiving the most votes in each category will be declared winners.

Following the public vote, the overall "Innovation of the Year" winner will be determined from among the winning entries by an independent panel of judges - including both professionals and consumers.

This year's judges panel includes a number of widely recognized hearing industry experts and thought leaders, including: Shari Eberts, Marshall Chasin, AuD, Dave Kemp, Geoff Cooling, Steve Claridge, Abram Bailey, AuD, Andy Bellavia, Holly Hosford-Dunn, PhD, Amyn Amlani, PhD and Sophie Brice, PhD.

Each person is allowed 1 vote per category, per day. So, be sure to visit each day and cast your vote for the most deserving innovations in the hearing industry!

Winners will be announced in October. Category winners will be recognized and the "Innovator of the Year" award winner will be announced during the Academy of Doctors of Audiology (ADA), AuDacity 2021, which will take place in Portland, Oregon on October 25-27, 2021.

Proceeds generated by this year's awards program will help support the Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA) and the Hearing Health Foundation (HHF).
