Audicus Introduces Its First-Ever Rechargeable Bluetooth Hearing Aid
New York, NY, June 15, 2020 — Audicus, a leading healthcare provider of direct-to-consumer hearing health technology, today announced the launch of The Wave, a game changing hearing aid designed to provide a Bluetooth experience that has never been available to Audicus customers before. The Wave comes after Boomers voiced their frustrations at the slow moving industry asking how, despite widespread technological advancements and Bluetooth being readily available in most common devices, can hearing aid technology remain so significantly behind.
Over 5 years and 200,000 hours of development have gone into making The Wave - the Apple AirPods of hearing aids. The Wave offers key features combined in a single hearing aid, Bluetooth direct-streaming into both ears, direct pairing with devices, and overnight rechargeability. Perhaps most impressively, despite traditional hearing aids costing between $3,000 and $8,000, and requiring multiple trips to the Audiologists’ office, The Wave is available from only $899 with the entire experience from testing to customization available online.
The Wave provides direct connectivity to your Apple or Android smartphone, the ability to control and customize from an app, and simplifies everyday experiences such as taking phone calls, watching TV, listening to music, and talking hands-free while driving. The Wave is the connection Boomers need for the life they deserve.
Audicus founder and CEO explains “the hearing aid industry needed a drastic change. With the technological progress of the 21st century, hearing aids shouldn’t cost $6,000 per pair, come in antiquated designs, or be hard to obtain.” The Wave solves these key industry issues with one revolutionary product.

The Wave is an excellent HA, as a long time HA user, it is a great value and the Bluetooth functionality works flawlessly. Audicus'a new subscription service is a blessing. No more big out of pocket expenditures and in 18 months I get a new HA. My experience with Audicus has been superb. Highly recommended!
I am having a bit of trouble with connecting my bluetooth, like to a tv. I did purchase a tv connector & have it connected to 1 tv. Do you know if I can connect it to a different tv? I can connect to that tv with the internal bluetooth. (actually am occasionally dismayed when I cannot turn it off)
I would appreciate any tips you may have.
The Audicus Wave's are unbelievable. They rival my Phonak Nadia IV at $6,600. Actually more comfortable with the dome technology $2.398!
Thank you.

I have an Android phone, and a iPad. To move from one device to the other, I found the quickest way to get connected was to unpair the Waves on the device I was connected to and pair to the other device. That works quickly everytime. Hope that helps!
