Looks encouraging. Are or will these be offered for those of us with single sided deafness?
CHALLENGE -- Since more and more people are wearing SOME type of EarBud or HA, and it is, or will shortly be a huge hearing ENHANCEMENT to wear ALL these devices, does anyone want to give up ANY functionality to make it look like you don't have a hearing loss?? I'd think since some of the most hearing impaired are rock stars, and earbuds are "cool" now, it should be pretty easy to convince folks that HA are NO LONGER a stigma at all. I've haven't found anyone that I've explained that I had to first turn down my music, or hang up with someone I'm talking to through my HA that aren't VERY impressed and would love to have them as well. It can't be hard or won't be long until once this is explained, the one piece design quickly loses its appeal. The stigma of HA's is GONE. Start advertising how COOL they are, vs trying to convince me they are invisible, (since they are NOT, EVER, ANY of them).
IMO, the whole idea of designing HA's so they "don't look like HA is increasingly stupid". My RIC with BTE is hard enough to stay on/in, especially when taking a COVID mask on or off. I don't relish the idea of my HA falling out, into the pool I'm cleaning and is not ready to dive to the bottom and retrieve my HA before it melts from the Chlorine shock I just poured in.
I'd rather have more functionality and much longer battery life, with a BTE that stays on better. Maybe two days of BT use with larger rechargeable battery?
