EDEN PRAIRIE, MINN — Starkey today announced the continuation of its partnership with the Minnesota Timberwolves for the 2026-27 NBA season, building on a longstanding relationship dedicated to raising awareness of hearing health and creating positive impact throughout the state.
Through the partnership, Starkey will once again provide hearing protection at various Timberwolves home games, helping fans enjoy the energy of live basketball while taking steps to protect their hearing. The collaboration continues during Protect Your Hearing Month, highlighting the importance of hearing protection in environments where sound levels can put hearing at risk.
Mike Resnick, VP of Partnership Marketing, Minnesota Timberwolves and LynxWe're proud to continue our partnership with Starkey, an organization that shares our Minnesota roots and commitment to making a positive impact in our community. The energy and excitement of Timberwolves basketball is something we want every fan to enjoy, and through our work with Starkey, we're helping raise awareness about the importance of protecting your hearing while experiencing the moments that make live sports so special.
Live sporting events bring fans together through the sounds of the game, from the roar of the crowd to the excitement of a big play, but loud noise can also pose a risk to hearing. By making hearing protection available at games, Starkey and the Timberwolves are helping fans make informed choices to protect their hearing while enjoying the experiences they love.
“The future of hearing health depends on changing how people think about hearing—not just treating hearing loss, but empowering people to protect one of their most important connections to the world around them,” said Brandon Sawalich, President and CEO of Starkey. “Our partnership with the Minnesota Timberwolves gives us an opportunity to bring that message to more people, where they live, work and experience the things they love. Protecting your hearing shouldn’t mean missing out on life. It should be part of how you experience more of it.”
As two Minnesota-based organizations, Starkey and the Timberwolves share a commitment to making a positive difference in the communities they serve. Through this continued collaboration, the organizations will engage fans throughout the season and reinforce the importance of making hearing health part of everyday wellness.
