WSA, a global leader in hearing healthcare, today announced that its Signia and Widex brands have both earned 2026 Hearing Technology Innovator Awards. Signia Pure C&G MaX won in the Hearing Aids, Receiver in Canal category, and Widex Compass Cloud 2.0 won in the Service Delivery, Hearing Aid Fitting Software category.

Hosted by Hearing Health & Technology Matters (HHTM), the annual awards program recognizes technological innovation and achievement across the hearing industry. The wins underscore the strength of WSA’s dual-brand portfolio, bringing distinct approaches to hearing technology and fitting software that help hearing care professionals meet individual patient needs.

At WSA, we invest in innovation that raises expectations for what hearing care can deliver, both in the clinic and in the moments that matter to patients. These awards recognize the expertise of our Signia and Widex teams and our commitment to putting that expertise in the hands of hearing care professionals, so they can help people hear with confidence and participate fully in daily life.

Mike O’Neil, WSA President US Wholesale

Signia Pure C&G MaX is the first hearing aid built on the Signia Multi-adaptive Xperience (MaX) platform, powered by Acoustic Intelligence™. Four interconnected Deep Neural Networks analyze speech, background noise, the listening environment and the wearer’s own voice simultaneously, sharing information in real time to adapt to the full listening situation. This coordinated approach helps wearers stay engaged in dynamic group conversations, even as speakers move and surroundings change.

In a year marked by a high volume of new hearing aid launches, the recognition for Signia MaX carries particular significance. Its win in the competitive Receiver in Canal category reinforces Signia’s approach to sound processing, built around understanding the complete listening moment and helping wearers participate confidently in it.

Widex Compass Cloud 2.0 brings a focus on individual needs into the fitting process. Developed for Widex Allure and Allure hearing aids, the cloud-based platform combines advanced fitting tools with real-world usage data to help hearing care professionals personalize care from the first appointment through follow-up visits.

Enhanced Data Logging provides insight into the sound environments patients encounter beyond the clinic, supporting targeted adjustments. Adaptation Manager helps new wearers gradually adjust to amplification, and Allure Sensogram enables hearing measurements directly through the devices. Automatic cloud updates deliver new capabilities without manual software installations, helping professionals spend their time on patient care.

Together, these technologies connect advances in everyday hearing performance with the tools professionals need to tailor that performance to each wearer.

“With Signia MaX and Widex Compass Cloud 2.0, we’ve taken significant steps this year to advance AI sound processing and cloud-based fitting,” concluded O’Neil. “Each brand brings a distinct perspective backed by award-winning technology, giving WSA the depth to lead across multiple areas of hearing care. That breadth is central to our leadership and our ability to shape the future of the industry.”
