This September, Phonak introduced an upgrade to our award-winning wireless microphone Roger On, that once again sets a new standard for wireless innovation. Roger microphones build an invisible bridge between a speaker’s voice and your hearing aid or cochlear implant, significantly boosting speech understanding, especially in noisy, complicated listening environments. In 2019, Phonak introduced RogerDirect™, eliminating the need for an external receiver attached to the hearing aid. Building on RogerDirect, Roger On 3 innovates with unlimited receivers in Roger microphones. Not only is this innovation found in Roger On 3, but across the adult and pediatric microphone portfolio, including Roger On 3, Roger Select 3, Roger Table Mic 3, and Roger Touchscreen Mic 3.

Removing additional hardware has long been an ask from both patients and Hearing Care Providers. The evolution that began with RogerDirect, continues with RogerUnlimited. With Unlimited we push further this transition of removing external receivers, by introducing unlimited Roger (02) receivers inside our core lineup of Roger microphones.

Roger Unlimited yields an array of advantages including:

  • Less hardware to keep track of: removal of additional hardware for Roger connection in hearing aids/CIs with RogerDirect
  • Peace of mind: eliminates need to uninstall or worry of lost receivers
  • Experience the joy of Roger friends & family: patients can now share their Roger transmitter with other hearing aid users with RogerDirect
