Oticon Reveal Launches With Dual AI for Speech and Surrounding Sounds

Oticon A/S has announced the launch of Oticon Reveal™, a new premium rechargeable hearing aid built around a Dual AI sound-processing system designed to enhance speech while maintaining access to meaningful sounds in the surrounding environment.

Reveal is based on the company’s new Reveal AI platform and represents the third generation of Oticon’s AI-powered sound processing. According to parent company Demant, the compact miniRITE hearing aid will initially become available in August and is expected to launch at four technology levels across major global markets during the third quarter of 2026.

Two AI systems working together

At the center of Reveal is what Oticon describes as the world’s first Dual AI hearing aid sound-processing system. Rather than relying on one AI system to manage the complete acoustic environment, Reveal uses two dedicated systems operating simultaneously and in real time. 

Speech AI continuously identifies and enhances speech from people around the wearer,^1,2 while Context AI analyzes and preserves other sounds that provide information about the listening environment.³ Oticon says the approach is intended to give the brain access to both clear speech and the broader acoustic context instead of relying primarily on aggressive noise reduction to isolate speech. 

The approach builds on the success of Oticon Intent which was launched in February 2024, as well as the company’s BrainHearing™ philosophy, which holds that the brain benefits from receiving a more complete representation of the surrounding sound scene. According to research cited by Oticon, Reveal produces a 60% stronger brain response than Oticon Intent,⁴ due to “the world’s best combination of fastest and most precise AI sound processing.”⁵

Oticon says both of Reveal’s AI systems remain active throughout the day and across listening environments without requiring compromises in hearing aid size, comfort, discretion, or all-day battery performance. 

Faster, more precise feedback management

Reveal also introduces an updated feedback-management system designed to reduce the whistling or squealing that can occur when amplified sound leaks from the ear and is picked up again by the hearing aid’s microphones.

According to Demant, the new system responds 30% faster and offers 4 times greater fitting precision than Oticon’s previous feedback technology. The company says the added speed and precision allow Reveal to maintain needed amplification while interfering less with speech cues and other important sounds.

For wearers, the goal is more stable amplification and more natural, comfortable sound, particularly in situations where feedback control might otherwise limit gain. For hearing care professionals, the greater precision may also provide more flexibility when fitting patients who need higher levels of amplification.

New connectivity platform

Reveal also debuts an updated wireless platform that Oticon says provides stronger signal performance, improved streaming stability, and greater range for hands-free calling and audio streaming.⁶
