Sonova USA Names Jimena Garcia VP Commercial Sales; Jason Mayer Moves to VP Hearing Instruments Wholesale EMEA

AURORA, ILL – Sonova USA Inc. is pleased to announce a leadership change in its Hearing Instruments (HI) business.

Jimena Garcia, formerly Vice President, Marketing Wholesale at U.S. Hearing Instruments has been promoted to Vice President, Commercial Sales at U.S. Hearing Instruments. In this role, Garcia will oversee commercial leadership for both the Phonak and Unitron brands.

This role reflects recent progression within Sonova USA to enhance collaboration between Phonak and Unitron under the Hearing Instruments US umbrella, with both brands continuing to operate as distinct entities. Furthermore, this underscores Sonova USA’s commitment to delivering greater value and service to hearing care professionals and their patients nationwide, ensuring customers continue to have access to innovative solutions, personalized support, and two trusted brands under one coordinated leadership.

Jason Mayer, formerly Vice President, Commercial Sales at U.S. Hearing Instruments will be transitioning to Sonova’s global headquarters in Switzerland to serve as Vice President, Hearing Instruments Wholesale EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Asia) and Distributor Markets at Sonova Group.
