New Product Alert

The latest product in the Starkey lineup is the Starkey Genesis AI hearing aid, which debuted in February of 2023.

Livio is Starkey’s current flagship product family, and the successor to Starkey's Halo iQ family of hearing aids. Livio is available in multiple behind-the-ear and in-the-ear form factors. The full-featured Livio Edge AI features direct audio streaming (iOS and Android), sensor-based accelerometers, and artificial-intelligence software that can detect falls and monitor real-time health information. Livio AI made the list on Dr Cliff’s top hearing aids of 2021.

Livio vs Livio AI vs Livio Edge AI

Livio is available in multiple technology levels (named “1000”, “1200”, “1600”, “2000”, and “2400”) with “1000” being the lowest technology (cheapest) and “2400” being the highest technology (most expensive). Starkey also offers an optional “AI” feature upgrade for each of those technology levels, yielding products like the “Livio 1000 AI” or “Livio 2000 AI”. At the very top level, the AI feature upgrade is referred to as “Edge AI”, so the absolute highest technology level available is the “Livio 2400 Edge AI”.

Exclusive AI features

The following features are only available by purchasing* the AI feature upgrade. So if you’re interested in any of these features be sure to inquire about AI:

Available in “Edge AI” only:

  • Fall detection - Detects when you fall and sends an alert message to selected contacts.
  • Edge Mode - Conducts an AI-based analysis of the environment and makes smart and immediate adjustments.
  • Translate - Communicate with people who speak other languages via a translation tool in the Thrive app.
  • IntelliVoice - AI-enabled IntelliVoice feature helps improve speech understanding for those with significant hearing loss.
  • Thrive Care App - The Thrive Care app lets hearing aid wearers share information like physical activity, hearing aid usage, social engagement and more, with pre-selected people.
  • MultiFlex Tinnitus Pro - Creates a comforting and customizable sound stimulus that you and your hearing professional can fine-tune to soothe the unique, irritating sounds you hear.

Other AI-only features:

  • Find My Phone - Using your hearing aids and Thrive Assistant, you can now locate your lost or misplaced phone by having it ring.
  • Transcribe - Conversations are transcribed into text that can be saved or shared.
  • Body tracking - Tracks your daily steps, measures movement and monitors more vigorous physical activity.
  • Brain tracking - Monitors the brain-health benefits of wearing hearing aids by tracking active listening.
  • Tap controls - Enables you to easily stop or start audio streaming by simply tapping your ear twice.
  • Voice commands - You can use voice commands and ask questions related to the Thrive Hearing app to control your hearing aids or set reminders.

Feature descriptions courtesy Starkey.
* Most clinics charge more for the AI upgrade, but some may offer the upgrade at no cost.

Livio Custom

In February, Starkey launched the new Livio Custom, a custom-fitted in-the-ear version of the Livio AI. The Custom is rechargeable, and includes the same embedded sensors as the behind-the-ear model. Metal charging contacts, a push button, and microphone ports are seen on the exterior faceplate of the Custom. Edge mode is also available via a double-tap.

Livio Edge

Livio App Control

The Thrive Hearing Control smartphone app works with Livio AI to perform wellness tracking, activity tracking, brain health tracking, and language translation functions. All versions of Livio have access to a hearing aid finder function, iOS audio streaming for phone calls and multimedia audio, hearing-aid remote control, personalized listening programs, geo-tagged listening programs, audio notifications, an adaptive car mode, and accessories for wireless audio streaming from Bluetooth devices.

I have the livio AI 1600 RICs.  I would NEVER purchase these again.  They might be ok if I led a completely sedentary lifestyle and never left an air  conditioned room, but that's not how I live.  If I go outside in the summer, I take my hearing aids off and leave them in the house because the moment my head becomes a little moist, one or both HAs go dead.  I'm not talking about working up a heavy sweat - just becoming a little moist from walking around the yard; watching a graduation ceremony; talking to friends on the sidewalk - you get the picture.  I've complained now for two years and the HAs have been returned to Starkey for repairs 2 - 3 times, but the problem persists.  I've started wearing my old HAs more now.  I can't hear as well and they don't fit well any more, but I can take them anywhere and do anything I want (except swim) without them going dead.  The hearing techs said to buy a drying box and I did, but I can't carry it around with me all day and take 2 hr breaks to dry the HAs out every time they go dead.  If you thrive on aggrevation, buy these hearings - you'll be delighted; otherwise, don't.

I have Livio 1600 rechargeable ha's.   The right one won't hold a charge after 14 hours. I put them in at 7am by 10pm it needs to be charged. I can't hear people sitting across from me at a round table that seats 8 in our Fellowship Hall at church for a meeting with no one else in the room. If I have them connected to Bluetooth on my Samsung S71 which you must do to use the Thrive app, I have to turn Bluetooth off to answer because the person on the other end can't hear me. The Thrive app is unreliable. They seem to work ok with the Loop technology.  We bought an Amazon Fire Box because we read that Amazon and Starkey collaborated on streaming a Fire TV to my hearing aids. It worked for about 4 months then the left one quit streaming. When I took it into my audiologist, he told me the Amazon Fire Box was a 3rd party product and he couldn't help me. Both pair have been sent back for refurbishing.  Fingers crossed.

I have had the Livio AI 2400 for just over three years. I’ve been wearing Aids for 20 years and these are definitely the best. Sound is clearer especially the higher frequencies.   It works well with my iPhone. Phone calls with Bluetooth are a game changer. I fell into a pool and both aids went to the bottom and after replacement batteries they continued to work. Starkey phone support is great.  I’m very satisfied.

I've had the Livio AI hearing aids for about 18 months. They worked well at first, including synching with my iPhone 6s. But after about a year, they stopped working with my phone. Thrive would not connect even though the phone connects with every other Bluetooth device I use it with. Apple store tech people said they couldn't find anything amiss with the phone or its Bluetooth support. My audiologist office people said there was nothing wrong with the hearing aids, and in fact they do work with a newer model iPhone 7 without difficulty most of the time. The last audiologist to examine the hearing aids said Starkey reps have claimed that Apple is to blame, by making it impossible for iPhone 6s models to connect with Thrive or my hearing aids, supposedly as a way to get people to buy newer phones. I think this is ridiculous and that it is far more likely that Starkey just doesn't want to spend the money to update Thrive when newer iPhone iOS software is installed. In any event, don't believe Starkey when it says its products are compatible with iPhone 6 models -- my hearing aids' inoperability with my iPhone 6s and the company's apparent inability or unwillingness to do anything to correct it are proof. In addition, some of the functions advertised, like transcribe, work very poorly to the point of being useless. Also, my hearing aids have taken to resetting themselves randomly, including switching into AI mode and lowering volume settings, which can be very annoying. They do provide very good sound quality, which is the only reason I give them a 3 out of 5 ranking.

I have had them for 2 weeks. These are not for me. Everything sounds like I am listening through an old fashion transitor radio. Thrive doesn't work well with Android phones. I hate them and they are going back tomorrow.

This is my second set of hearing aids from Starkey.  I have had hearing aids for 30 years and I have found these to be the best yet. The diversity and function are top notch. My first PR lasted for five years, and I only replace them as a precaution I have since had the second pair for an additional four years. I found the staff to quickly  responsive to my questions and with the occasional repair.

As a hearing aid they are great.  The battery life is excellent. as a streaming device they are 10 years behind the times.  When the phone bluetooth is enabled they are continuosly trying to connect wheather it is necessary or not.  to watch TV you havee to have the controller and then as soon as there is no sound they disconnect.  Oticon hearing aids are far supperior for streaming, al the controls arre a function of the aid.

When they work they are great. Have battery model and they continually shut down 3 to 4 times a day. Requires opening battery compartment and reclosing for them to work again. Would not recommend  the battery model.

I have the Starkey Livio Edge AI.  I received them towards the end of 2020 and I have had constant problems with feedback.  I have problem when I change to "Television" mode and slide the sider to raise the volumn.  I get feedback.  I have been to the audiologist more times that I care to remember.  My hearing aids are always adjusted by the audiologist, but with the help of Starkey Tech Support.  They do screen share.  I sent the hearing aids back to be repaired and was given a brand new "Loaner".  I had the same problem with feedback.  When my hearing aids were returned, they did not repair them, but sent me a completely new pair.  Needless to say I have the same problem. I have spent many hours at the office of the audiologist and many hours on the phone with Starkey.  My last visit to the audiologist, I was met with a representative of Starkey.  He updated my hearing aid from the Starkey Livio AI 2400 to the Starkey Livio Edge AI 2400.  The feedback with this new hearing aid, does not seem to be as loud as the previous hearing aid, but it still exists and when it happens, it is unbearable and I cannot wear them.  The Starkey rep promised me an external mic if this persists.  I called the audiologist and told her to ask him to send the mic and I was told that they are on backorder and won't be available for another month. This hearing aid has many functions.  1). FALL ALERT;  This function is suppose to sent a text message to someone (max 3 people) in the event you fall--This is great, but it doesn't work. I am told that it is not perfect and I should not rely on it.  They are working on it.  2)THRIVE CARE:  Thrive care app is downloaded on another persons phone, so they can check what is going on with your body and brain.  Ex. if you stand, exercise, walk etc.  This did not update immediately, so I called Starkey and they tell me that it could take up to 24 hours for it to update to the "Thrive Care App".  This app is also suppose to let you know if someone falls--If it take 24 hours to update, then what good is this app. 3). REMINDERS;  You can only set the start of a reminder, but you cannot set an end and restart date and time.  I was told by Starkey tech support, to set a calendar reminder when you want that particular reminder to start again--Why would I need this feature if I will use my calendar.  TRANSLATE;  This actually works.  It is very slow in translating.  I would use it only to ask, where is the bathroom or for a restaurant.  The are also working on this.  Their are many other features, but I haven't  explored them enough to comment.

Been wearing Livio Edge AI now for about three months. Good sound quality but all of the extra bells and whistles not worth the price. At times I lose connection when streaming. Tracking activity is a joke. I will wear them at gym and work out hard for over an hour. Thrive App will show 3 minutes of exercise. I was not that interested in Livios but audiologist kept pushing them. She probably gets some type of kick back. Maybe a free vacation or something. Size could/ should be a little smaller (have the 312 RICS) but they pack a lot of unnecessary extras in them like Fall Alert, Steps, Hours Stand, Minutes Exercised, Foreign Language Translation none of which is very accurate. All I wanted is a small discreet hearing aid with great sound quality. Instead I got a bunch of other stuff and paid a lot of money for features that I never use. Also, the Livios are larger in size than other hearing aids I was wearing nearly 10 years ago

I just cannot hear clearly with these new ones ( Livio 1600) have had about four months and been back several times for adjustments. Basically, they are turned up as high as possible and squeal so much. Very disappointed

Did your supplier provide a real ear measurement after delivery? The initial programing will get you close but a REM is required to match your exact prescription and often the mismatch is on the high end where you may hear sound but not make out words if not properly configured.. Simply turning up the volume will not solve a hearing aid that did not have a real ear measurement after it was programmed and fitted.

I've really tried to like these Livio Edge AI HAs, but have concluded that they aren't for me.

When I use them as a standalone device, they perform well.  But I live a connected life, and reasonably expect my HAs to perform as well as (or better than) a decent set of bluetooth earbuds.

When I try to do this I have to resist the urge to find a hammer, smash them to little bits, then put the little bits on the floor and stomp on them.

I use a Samsung s10+ (android) phone, and the Livios just don't work with them.  I've reached this conclusion after spending several hours on the phone with the (very good) Starkey tech support people - but they cannot make the HA something that it isn't which is a device that plays well with all my other devices.

Regretfully, these are going back, and I have a set of the Phonak Audéo Paradise on order

  • Livio Edge AI standalone performance - 5 stars
  • Livio Edge AI connected performance - 1 star
  • Livio Thrive App - 0 stars (for randomly changing setting whenever I use my phone for anything, for continually losing sync with my HAs, and for generally being an irritating POS).
  • Starkey tech support - 5 stars

I've had my livio 2400's for less than a year and the left one has had to be repair twice.  My prior hearing aids were the starkey Halo's.  Had them for 7 years with no problem and were great.  Moving to the Livios in my opinion was a bad move for me.  Unrealiable and the thrive software only works about 50% of the time on my Iphone.

The ability to raise or lower around 5 times is great, there is a crowd function as well, where it eliminates most background noises, the fact you merely have to touch a button on the hearing aid is so subtle and effective. I have used Starkey Destiny years ago, then Phonak, the Livio is by far the best CIC I have ever used. And it helps to have a great Audiologist.

Not sure what you are referring to as Classification. If you mean the model as in iPhone 10, the Livio HA's and app will work on phones as far back as iPhone 6. If you are referring to IOS level, they require IOS 14 which can be loaded on any iPhone from the 6 and up. They only require Bluetooth and the app.

I have a high pitch problem hearing. I’ve had halo 110 for several years but they never seem to be able to help me. I purchased the livio 2400 312’s and from the day I got them sounds were clearer and I could listen to a conference better. Still have some slight adjusting my voice. Going on a month with the livio. Bluetooth functionality on Samsung S20 is horrible. I finally had to not allow automatic connection because every time I  would open my phone my HA would switch to "stream boost" mode for just a second then revert. Streamed audio was like trying to listen to a whispered conversation 3 meters away.

I do not recommend. These are my second set of hearing aids. My first pair (Phonak) lasted 6 years. I should’ve stayed with them but the new audiologist pushed the starkeys. I agree with other commenters- definitely pushed to them and despite repeated difficulties, the audiologist continues to push them. When I told the audiologist my primary goal was clarity of words she pushed the highest priced version: step counting (I have a fitness tracker on my watch),fall notices -( no history and I’m not that old; work out everyday), Bluetooth options, etc.The sound is not clear- it can be louder but is not clear.  I have been back three times. The right one announces its program changes when I haven’t activated any changes. It just randomly speaks and changes programs or settings. It also randomly squeals like something is too close but nothing is anyplace close- again just random.  The left one turns off randomly. The tinnitus setting does nothing despite being reset twice in the office. Now wHen I call for a remedy, I’m told they can be sent away and usually come back in two weeks. I have a busy job that requires hearing accurately and can not afford to be without hearing for (hopefully only) two weeks. I spent $6700 and have regretted it almost daily. I’ll go back to the practice that included student training and ask for Phonak but certainly would never recommend or spend money on starkeys.

I'm a younger wearer of hearing aids, starting last year at age 45. I was diagnosed with a congenital moderate to severe hearing loss and my ENT doctor's office put me in a set of Starkey Livio BTE 2400 HA's. I have been wearing them for 13 months now (since Dec 2019) and they have changed my life. They're very comfortable to wear - I don't even notice them most of the time and I wear them usually from 6:30am until about 10pm. The earpiece domes don't block my ear canal, still allow sounds to naturally come into my ears, don't create clogs of wax, and don't put pressure on my ear canals. The 312 battery lasts 5 days like clockwork. Normal mode is great! I can hear clearly and understand speech so much better now, which is important for my career - and now going to the movies is so much more enjoyable! Sounds are crisp, clear and natural. I'm also a musician and getting a pair of HA's that would allow me to continue listening, playing and enjoying music was a must. I'm very pleased that music sounds natural with these - especially in Music mode. Music does not sound tinny at all whatsoever. If in Normal mode, the treble kind of washes in and out unnaturally but it's tolerable. Restaurant mode helps somewhat - it's the weakest benefiting mode of the 3. I still use it, but the benefit is only moderate. I can tell it's lowering the surrounding voices and focusing on who is sitting across from me. I like that I can create a Custom Mode to unique settings and have it available at the push of a button on the back of the HA's along with the other modes. I've accidentally stepped into the shower with them on, got them soaked, and they kept right on going without any problems. I've also been caught in a few thunderstorms and they survived. I dropped one on my tile floor and it didn't phase it. My only complaints are 1) Restaurant mode is very meh 2) their cost was insane - though I'm sure my ENT made a significant profit off of gouging markup and 3) the Thrive app is pretty much useless and it won't Stream calls or music to my HA's from my Android phone because Starkey has very limited Android support and it's mostly to Samsung. If you have a lesser brand Android you pretty much won't have Thrive support. Yet Thrive App has complete support to Apple products. Other than that, they're perfect and I couldn't be happier with them. I'm hoping to get many years of use out of them.

Love my CROS but the Thrive App is terrible. Works 1/2 the time for car. (Often won’t come on and then often won’t revert to Normal.) Music is great. Rechargeable is super. Remote programming doesn’t work. Phone is ok. Loses connection with the transmitter side regularly. I still really struggle in large/noisy settings.

The 1200 had very clear phone connections beyond previous aids used. It was adaptable in different environments. connectivity with IPhone is good but sometimes connection is lost but problem is solves by reboot.

Returned due to pain and frustration, some of which was caused by my personal over estimation of results.

These are my fourth set of hearing aids. I have previously had in-the-canal aids from Phonak and Oticon. These Starkey Livio AI RIC 312 2400 hearing aids have completely changed my hearing and the way I wear my hearing aids. With the ITC aids in the past I was reluctant to wear them all the time because of the occlusion sounds of my own voice, the need to carry around a separate remote control, the tinny sounds of many peoples voices, whistling sounds from the aids, echoing, and other issues. I have experienced none of those issues with these new hearing aids. After being fitted by the audiologist to sync the aids to specific hearing loss, the Thrive app gives complete adjustability of the hearing aids for different situations, environments, and noise levels. With stored memory, I can change the settings on my phone with one click to fit the situation I am in. They are comfortable and I often forget I am wearing them. The sounds are very natural compared to my old hearing aids. Adjustability includes an equalizer for different sound frequencies, wind, microphone direction, noisy environments, and more. They work well streaming music and talking on the phone where the sounds are transmitted directly to the aids. Average battery life for me is 5 days. The added ability to mute them without taking them out or turning off is a plus when I am in situations to loud to adjust the volume or when I need to wear over-the-ear hearing protection (I work in a shop). I also have the TV streamer which works well but does give some echoing if the volume is up on the TV while also streaming to the aids. Adjusting the sound volumes and equalizer in the app seemed to eliminate some of those issues. The language translator works well but takes some practice to use effectively.

I think the audiologist is key. The hearing aid MUST fit correctly, and you MUST clean them routinely. We tried different cones (the tips) until we found ones that were not only comfortable, but improved sound. The sizes of the ones in my left and right ear are different!

It is somewhat of a surprise to hear all of the things I have been missing in the past. It has taken a few days to get used to hearing at a different level.

I had Phonak for ten years and they were fine. I decided with all the new technology that is out today I should upgrade my hearing aids. I have tried Starkey and Oticon. The Starkey are constantly whistling in my hear. The Oticon were fine until I tried adjusting them with the app on my iphone. I basically could not adjust them at all. I almost done with my thirty day trial with the Starkey and at this point I am not sure what to do. I know that hearing aids are not perfect and can help to a certain point, but when I put them on and don't hear any difference in the sound of the television, something is wrong. Do audiologists favor certain brands more then others? For some reason, I think the person I am working with now favors Starkey. Do they get a kickback from certain companies?

I am in a similar position as yourself. I have had ITE Phonak aids for 5 years and about to buy Livio 2400. However, I’ve stopped in my tracks with the same question you have. I was only introduced to Starkey, with a hard sell on the Livio 2400.  I realize that although I have had Starkey aids before the Phonak aids, I want to explore the Marvel before going further. But I, too, am concerned whether dealers get kickbacks for pushing a brand and whether they are putting the client’s hearing needs ahead of profits. I had confidence in the place I’ve been using, but now not quite ad much. Good question for Dr. Cliff Olson, audiologist, on YouTube. Check him out.

My original post was from a few months ago.  I now have the Phonak Marvel with T-coil. On a scale of 1 - 10 with 10 being the highest, I feel the Phonak are a 10 and Starkey a 3.  I can actually hear people when they talk to me.  I can hear my grandchildren when they call me from another room.   Occasionally, I will lower the volume when I find they are too loud, but as we know, hearing helpers are not perfect.  They help you hear!

I have been wearing the Livio AI for about 3 weeks this is my 2nd pair the first ones the Left aid was locking up my Iphone. Since the replacement it has been great the audio is very clear and the interaction with the iphone has been good. this is my 2nd pair of hearing aids first RIC these are very comfortable and easy to take care of. The battery life has been about 6 days with a good mix of general use and streaming music.

How are they in noisy environments?

Nathan
What do you mean locking up your IPhone?  I have been wearing a pair of the AI's for 6 weeks now and occasionally they fail to connect to my IPhone, sometimes one or the other sometimes both.  It is not due to being connected by blue tooth to another device, I learned that lesson the first week.
Stephen B
The lockup of the phone was a problem with the unit and was resolved with a replacement as for not connecting I also have the same problem 1 or both won’t connect and I will have to go into phone settings and forget and re-pair to get the thrive app to work again haven’t gone back to the place of purchase to see if there is a fix yet

I think they work very well. The app gives you a great deal of control over the environment, including a one-touch button to limit background noise, which works very well. I have mine pre-programmed for Normal, Restaurant, Auditorium (for group meetings in a large room), plus it has the ability to adjust direction, background noise, loudness, wind. You also can add your own custom programs for your own listening environment. The app tells you how much battery power is left. I typically get 5-6 days depending on how much I use them to listen to music, or am on my iPhone with them. And yes, it streams directly from the iphone to both ears. Are they "great" for recorded music? No - headphones are better, BUT, they are fine to just stream music and answer your phone, if you don't have or want to use a earpiece. I used to have problems in a group of people - no more. Also issues in a courtroom - no more. In an auditorium, with a presenter - no more. Expensive, but I think worth it.

My hearing loss falls in the severe to profound part of the curve so I needed an aid with a power receiver embedded in a custom earmold. After dumping a top of the line Resound Linx 3D because it sounded crappy to me I ordered a Starkey Livio 2400 with the rechargeable option. I just got fitted a couple of days ago but so far it sounds much better than the Resound did. The quality of music even in the normal mode just blows me away. The gain of the receiver has plenty of headroom to allow me to boost the volume when I need it but I haven't really needed much boost so far. I'll update my comments if my opinion changes. BTW, I haven't submitted a formal review since there is no way to indicate that I have the rechargeable version of the Livio 2400. Since I am deaf in one ear I only have one aid.

This sounds almost identical to my hearing problem.  I'm deaf in my left ear and currently wearing a Starkey Muse iQ aid with a custom ear mold in my right ear.  About a month or so ago my hearing rapidly started getting worse and my audiologist kept increasing the gain in the hearing aid until he couldn't go any further because of feedback (in spite of the custom ear mold) and because the audio was getting distorted.  My hearing kept getting worse and I went to a hospital emergency room to find out more of what was happening to me.  They did an MRI of my head and found that I had liquid in my middle ear and in the mastoid bone that pressurized the eardrum to the point that it could barely vibrate in response to sounds.  They referred me to an ENT (ear nose and throat) doctor who did many additional tests and an additional CT scan.  After a couple more visits, the ENT installed a drainage tube into my eardrum and during the installation procedure I suddenly began hearing him talking to his assistant.  I couldn't wear my Starkey Muse hearing aid for a while until the drainage began to subside and then the aid was way too loud.  My audiologist reduced the gain but the frequency response still isn't so good.  I'm now interested in upgrading to the Livio Ai hearing aid because it is compatible with the "Thrive" app and my iPhone.  I would appreciate comments from anyone that is using that combination.

I just picked up a pair of Starkey 2400 two days ago. There are a total of four labels on the box, 2 labels describing the hearing aids with serial number and 2 labels describing the ear molds with serial number. I looked in battery compartment and sure enough one is a 2000 not a 2400. Could there be any rational explanation for this ? Such as your hearing loss is not the same in each ear.

Abram Bailey, AuD

There is something fishy there. Where did you purchase?

Len S

Having worn hearing aids for some 30 years, the Livio 2400 is the worst I have ever worn. Sound is muffled, speech is virtually unintelligible, particular male speech, volume adjustment manually makes no difference to hearing. I now have to purchase an Apple phone to use the Thrive app, another major expense. I would not recommend anyone purchasing these aids.

Hi I live in Australia and my hearing clinic gave me the Livio 1000 a few days ago and so far to me they sit better in my ears and are more comfortable to wear compared to other brands and when they do the moulding of the ear to make the ear piece that’s uncomfortable. Hopefully these hearing aides continue to be comfortable to wear and I love how we can talk on our phone without hold our phones to our ears

I want to get a pair of Edge AI 2400, along with the microphone+

I have Alexa around the house in several rooms and she alerts me to when someone rings my doorbell.

I understand that it is possible to link the microphone+ to Alexa, who will then speak through my HA's. However, I have a few questions,

  1. would this mean that Alexa would no longer make the announcement from the Alexa device/dot for others to hear?
  2. If I have the Alexa App on my phone, Can I engage with Alexa out of the home if I have unlimited data? Or do I have to be in near contact to an echo dot at all times?

Thank you in advance for any guidance or support you may be able to offer.

Hello!

I read your comment about using Alexa to alert you when someone rings the doorbell. The first thing I thought to myself was “they should get a corgi”. That way, you’d be alerted (loudly) to the doorbell, a knock at the door, a car door closing anywhere within 100 feet, packages dropped on your doorstep, a garage door opening, a person entering the premises, or even a person exiting the bathroom. They hear EVERYTHING, and they let you know it! I love my rechargeable Starkey Livio Edge AI 2400 RICs. They’re smaller than I thought they would be, comfortable, and so unobtrusive that my wife finds it difficult to see when I’m wearing them. She knows for sure when I tell her she doesn’t have to yell when she’s talking to me.

Best Regards,

I have the Starkey Livio 1000. My hearing provider informed me the hearing aids are obsolete. They were purchased in 2019. What happened?
