About the Audicus Wave
Wave is the latest entry-level receiver-in-canal (RIC) hearing aid from Audicus. The hearing aid includes wireless Bluetooth streaming and hands-free calling from both iPhone and Android, and is priced competitively at $699 per hearing aid ($899 for the rechargeable version). Wave comes in beige, grey, silver, or black, and is manufactured by the world's number one hearing aid manufacturer, Sonova—the same company that manufactures Phonak and Unitron.
Audicus Wave.
Wave is Audicus' most powerful hearing aid, as it's available with four different in-ear receivers, ranging from standard to ultra power. As a RIC hearing aid, it sits behind the ear and is suitable for moderate to severe hearing loss. Its multi-function toggle button lets you control the volume and program settings. Its Made-for-All Bluetooth capabilities connect to Apple and Android devices, so you can make calls and stream audio from your TV or phone, as well as connects with the app for further control of volume and 4 listening programs.
Wave features 12 channels, along with automatic features that include speech enhancement, noise reduction, and directional microphones. The rechargeable battery lasts for up to 18 hours, but you can also get this hearing aid with a replaceable (size 312) battery with longer battery life. Both versions support the Binaural Phone and tinnitus masker, and the rechargeable model comes with a telecoil (available upon request).
