Siemens Pure XCEL Reviews

Hearing aid reviews are fundamentally different from reviews for most other consumer electronic products. The reason is because individual factors, like degree of hearing loss, have a profound effect one's success and overall satisfaction with the product. When purchasing a hearing aid, you'll need to consider more than just your hearing outcome. Hearing aids are manufactured with varying levels of quality; some hearing aids are extremely durable, while others suffer frequent breakage. Battery life also varies between models, and manufacturer predictions of battery life are often optimistic. By collecting feedback from consumers, we can get a better idea of real world product durability and battery life... Continue reading

Extremely unreliable and poor value. £1200 right into the bin after 4 months of use. Sound dropping down to 1 very unclear and annoying. Constant beeps and countless problems with this hearing aid. Each adjustment made the hearing aid work worse than before. My audiologist asked the "specialist" from Sivantos to drop by and have a chat about it with me and she didn't have a clue what was wrong lol. It required repair every 6 months for £75 charge. I got the hearing aid replaced 2 times until Sivantos decided not to fix it anymore because it is out of range and they "ran out of repair parts". I got rid of Simens as their products are crap and my audiologist from Specsavers (in UK) for being too afraid to contact them about anything. I wish there was a way to rate audiologist services as well on this website. Using Boots Hearcare now as they are more professional, easier to reach and more reliable. They also provide interest free finance over a 24-month contract with the right of 60 days to return if you change your mind about your hearing aids.

Purchased a par of Siemens Pure 701 in 2011. Had warranty service after two years and then replaced the external receiver in 2015. Now they need repair again, after five years. I have no idea whether that is a good record or not
