Results from this study of 332,271 hearing aid program selections from 1,312 selected users showed 57.7% of the HA users had programs for specific listening situations, and listening programs were generally used as intended and according to the sound environment conveyed by the program name (e.g., Speech in Noise, Comfort, Music, etc.).

A deep-dive into OTC hearing aids and public policy, including state health insurance and Medicaid requirements, the pros-and-cons for people and the economy, and the still unmet hearing needs of children, people with more severe hearing losses, and those who would benefit from hearing implants.
