I’m 55 years young.  Recently discovered I have 62% hearing loss in left ear and 37 in right.  Aside from my high deductible I gave decent insurance.  Upon my 1st visit with audiologists and introducing me to hearing aides that would beat fit my needs, I am blown away at the cost!  Of which I cannot afford.  I am realizing that if I have to ask someone to repeat themselves more than once, they tend to get agitated with me and perceive me as “non-intelligent”.   This has been a daily struggle along with depression and isolating myself outside of work.
