Found out around 8 years ago how bad my hearing was getting, used to work in nightclubs back before the days of health and safety in the work place and as such my hearing has been damaged from it, racing and shooting did me no favours either. 
No problems with volume just clarity, can't hear some high pitch tones at all, like the alarm on a digital watch, drives my wife nuts when I get a new watch.
