I am a retired child psychologist. During my long career, I used to carry out psychological assessments of children with a wide range of special educational needs, including children with different types/levels of hearing impairment. Most of the children I saw, were at mainstream schools, but some attended hearing impairment units or schools for the deaf.  I am now enjoying my retirement, but I miss working with the kids!!
