Pasadena Hearing Care was founded in 2012 by Dr. Anne Carter. Dr. Carter worked in hospital settings and with ENT physician practices before opening her own practice.  She has been working in the South Pasadena, Florida area for over 20 years.

Dr. Carter has 30 years of experience working with individuals with hearing problems.  She spent 5 years as a research Audiologist studying how hearing changes with age, how the ears work together to process sound, and how to improve speech understanding in noise.  Dr. Carter has authored and co-authored 13 journal articles, 5 book chapters, and has presented at nearly 20 professional conferences.  She moved to Florida in 2000.  In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Carter has taught at the University of South Florida.
