Are hearing aids from the VA locked?

VA hearing aids are not locked, and many other audiologists and hearing aid specialists will be able to tweak the programming. Some hearing healthcare professionals may charge a fee to do programming adjustments or repairs. These services would be free at the VA or through the Veterans Choice Program.
