My hearing test was comfortable and informative and the results matched my own expectations. Lowish cost hearing aids were recommended as suitable for me, even though I was quite prepared to pay considerably more. My audiologist was calm, reassuring and informative and happy to respond to my questions/suggestions. He outlined the time-frame for fitting and adjusting the devices and costs were clearly stated. I have been very happy with my purchase and pleased that I did not insist on the re-chargeable model that was considerably more expensive. Changing the batteries is not the problem I expected it might be. I have found the service from Value Hearing excellent and when the cable between the behind the ear and in the ear parts broke, I had a replacement from Queensland the next morning, together with an informative video on how to put it together. The only aspect that might have been better was a clearer overview about cleaning and maintaining the devices in the longer term.Read more
They originally fitted some heating aids for my mother that were very good. Two years on and the hearing aids were sent for adjustment, upon getting them back they don’t fit and aren’t calibrated, almost as though they are someone else’s (they keep falling out now and hearing is still impaired). This poor maintenance, coupled with difficulty getting into their very small office (building access/communication was difficult the last two times). Happy to edit this review if this changes, but currently they are falling well short of what they promised when signing up.Read more
I have enjoyed very good service over the last three years. Recently when one of my hearing aids became un-serviceable, the team at Varsity Lakes were able to express post me a replacement receiver which along with an emailed link for video instructions, had me back up and running inside 24 hours without leaving home. This I consider truly excellent service.Read more
Amazing service. Recommend a mid range product instead of the higher end products that others have recommended. The hearing aid they recommended (Phonak Marvel M-50) is amazing and I have zero complaints. The price they charge and follow up service is very hard to compete with. Thanks to Georgia, Melbourne Audiologist, for all your help!!Read more

Shoe is very thorough in the service that he provides, and pleasant to deal with as well.
Perfectly located, the Melbourne clinic in the CBD is easy to get to via tram. I have worn Aids for 37 years, and back when I was a kid, wearing my first pair of Analog Aids, I didn’t have many options, but these days there is so much more to not only choosing but also to fitting hearing Aids. Value Hearing gave me plenty of time to try out find out what worked for me, and I have referred my relatives in Sydney who also had suitable Aids fitted by Value Hearing. Wether you need your first second or 11th (like me) set of Aids, I would highly recommend you visit the friendly and professional staff in Melbourne who helped me decide which hearing Aids were right for me, and more importantly took the time to set them up properly!

The Audiologist is caring, professional and experienced, and through clinical testing, based on my specific hearing loss and lifestyle has set me up to try a couple of different brands and some different styles (CIC ITC and RIC).
I find it hard to get into the Central City but have found posting the aids back and forward has been very successful and I am pleased with the after sales service I have received in the last 7 years. Sorry you only allow provision to rate one provider as I found Josie from the Queensland office very helpful as well.

Both my late husband and I got our aids from Value Hearing and have been pleased with them. They were helpful to me when, like thousands of others, I lost an aid when removing the mark (and glasses and sunglasses).
Value Hearing provided a good initial consultation, checking my hearing and then explaining which hearing aids best suited my needs from the range that I had selected, which was a less optimised model (cheaper) than I had been lead to believe that I needed in an independent hearing test. Value hearing offered a package that not only included the hearing aids, but 3 years support, including consumables and regular checks at a very good price, saving me a considerable sum from my initial expectations. Regular messaging since purchase shows me that I have any support that I may need.
