Took my daughter in since she was having a high fever and was told they were going to put an iv in to take some blood and put iv fluids. A nurse poked her twice, and failed. Then, doctor Xiang Lee came in and attempted twice and the pictures shown are how the doctor left my baby. Didn’t even bother apologizing or cleaning her up. Never again will I be going back DO NOT COME HERE. I’ve tried calling patient advocacy multiple times, with no response
Read moreI will avoid this hospital as much as possible in the future. They told me I had to return to redo my mammogram because one of the images didn’t turn out. That was not true, but I’ll get back to that shortly. It took me four months to get a return appointment: two months because they kept saying they weren’t getting my doctors referral, and another two months because that was the next available appointment. They made me strip immediately into a paper-thin wrap-style shirt and stuck me in a freezing waiting room for an hour and a half. After they finally did the imaging, which was hard because I was shivering so much I struggled to keep still, I asked if I could put on my clothes to get warm and the nurse said no. I ask for a blanket and she doesn’t respond. She stuck me in another freezing waiting room and returned a half hour later with an old, dirty, scratchy blanket. I was there for another hour and a half when another nurse comes to fetch me. This is when I’m told the REAL reason for my return visit: They needed an ultrasound of the tumor they found in my right breast. My jaw dropped. Tumor?! What tumor? I told her that I was told I was just here to redo the imaging of my right breast because it didn’t come out the first time. At no point did anyone tell me they’d found a tumor or that I needed additional tests that would take over 3 hours! So yeah… they lied to me about the purpose of my visit, didn’t tell me what I was getting done, mislead me about the length of my visit, and left me sitting in freezing waiting rooms for hours. Also the same door that was broken and unusable during my first visit was still broken when I returned months later. AVOID THIS HOSPITAL.
Read morecame into the macneal emergency room around eleven at night on 04.12.2024 due to severe stomach pains. at the time, i was told that it was possibly involving my appendix and was almost immediately taken to a CAT scan and had an IV inserted. i was told the wait for the CAT scan results would be forty minutes roughly, and waited in a private area with the IV needle still in my arm, without the connecting fluids. at around two in the morning, they guided me and another couple in that waiting area back to the general waiting area of the ER, where THE STAFF LEFT THE IV TUBE IN MY ARM FOR FOUR MORE HOURS IN THE LOBBY. i was told that due to possibilities of procedures, i was not to drink or eat. at one point, i began asking the staff for updates on my case, whereas they were unable to give me any, and kept avoiding going into the back to ask for updates. i waited until six in the morning of 04.13 until a room opened up to get my CAT scan results. the picture below shows how i was left in the lobby of the hospital for four hours
Read moreI always loved this hospital until I got a Biopsy of my liver last week. Procedure doctor never seen him nor did he introduce himself. Nurses didn't tell me how to care for the wound, just stuck a paper in my bag and the numbers they say to call, DO NOT ANSWER !! They also say call the ER but I tried and was told to be quiet and come in. Instead of putting a nurse on the phone. This place is rediculous
Read moreMy father in law was admitted, and long story short, he's been waiting 3 days....3 DAYS!!! For an MRI, while he sits in a room, and every time you speak to somebody, nobody knows anything. This is by far possibly the worst hospital in the state they need to close their doors. Go elsewhere for any of your medical needs. IT'S PATHETIC how they treat patients here. Go anywhere else, avoid this place. Update day 3 has come and gone and still no MRI and nobody has any answers as to why, he has now been in the hospital for 4 DAYS waiting for an MRI test that has not happened with no medical or logical reason as to why it hasn't.
