Starkey Launches Genesis AI Hearing Aids in Australia and New Zealand

Executive Team Celebrated Historic Launch at the Sydney Opera House

Starkey Australia Genesis Ai Launch

The Starkey Team in Australia celebrates the launch of Genesis AI.

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA – Building on the incredible momentum from the U.S. and Europe, Starkey launched industry-leading Genesis AI hearing aids in Australia and New Zealand. Sleek, discreet, and technology-forward, Genesis AI features unprecedented sound quality, reliability, more first-fit success and satisfaction, and a patient experience that goes far beyond better hearing, pushing the limits of technology to deliver a product the industry and its patients deserve.

With the industry’s most advanced processor, the longest-lasting rechargeable battery in a RIC (51 hours from a single charge), the smallest rechargeable RIC with sensor, the widest dynamic range, the industry’s smallest new 2.4 GHz CIC, waterproof rechargeable products, and the smallest custom product, Genesis AI continues to break barriers around the world.

Genesis AI’s all-new Starkey Neuro Processor is packed with 6X the transistors and 4X the speed. The Neuro Processor was created to mimic the function of the central auditory system through an all-new compression system and an on-chip Deep Neural Network (DNN) accelerator. Packed with the industry's most sophisticated technology, Genesis AI hearing aids make over 80 million adjustments per hour automatically, resulting in more distinct, true-to-life sound quality than ever before.

“With Genesis AI, we have greatly expanded the capabilities of hearing aids beyond traditional expectations. It is the largest leap forward ever in hearing technology, transforming hearing aids from single-function listening enhancement devices into discreet, multipurpose health and communication tools,” said Starkey President and CEO Brandon Sawalich. “The new technology is already changing lives in the U.S., Canada, and Europe, and we are excited to launch in Australia at the Sydney Opera House.”
