Signia Extends Performance Levels and Features in Augmented Xperience (AX) Hearing Aid Portfolio

Signia has expanded its Augmented Xperience (AX) family of products with new extended hearing aid performance levels, an upgraded eWindScreen feature, improved AX Soundscape Processing functionality, and a new Multi Charger charging solution. Newly based in Metro Park, NJ (starting in March), Signia is one of the world’s leading hearing aid brands and is part of the WS Audiology (WSA) group which includes the Widex and Rexton brands.

The new enhancements are designed to assist hearing care professionals (HCPs) in achieving the best fit for their patients with a complete portfolio that optimizes listening experiences.

New AX Options and Features

All hearing aids on the Augmented Xperience platform—including Signia Styletto AX, Signia Pure Charge&Go AX, Signia Insio Charge&Go AX and Signia Pure 312 AX—are now available in performance levels 1AX and 2AX, in addition to premium performance levels 3AX-7AX.

According to Signia, every patient fit with hearing aids on the AX platform will benefit from Signia’s world's first Augmented Focus™ technology that processes speech and background noise separately to create a clear contrast between the two. It then recombines them to deliver outstanding speech clarity even in a fully immersive soundscape.

Improved eWindScreen and Soundscape Processing

Beginning March 1, 2023, an upgraded eWindScreen feature and improved AX Soundscape Processing functionality will be available through Connexx 9.9 or later. 

Available in performance levels 2AX-7AX, the AX upgraded eWindScreen is designed to reduce wind sounds, helping wearers engage better in outdoor communication and activities. eWindScreen builds on Signia’s existing Wind Noise Canceller to collectively identify wind and react smarter and faster to fluctuating wind noise.

Available in performance levels 3AX-7AX, and when Signia’s Own Voice Processing (OVP) 2.0 is activated, improved AX Soundscape Processing leverages OVP 2.0 to provide better processing of not only the wearer’s own voice but of the entire sound environment, including the voices on which the wearer wants to focus.

New Multi Charger

Available in Summer 2023, Signia's new Multi Charger offers flexibility for use in an HCP’s office and on-the-go for Signia patients. The Multi Charger will be compatible with Signia Motion Charge&Go P X, Signia Motion Charge&Go SP X, Signia Active Pro, Signia Active, Signia Pure Charge&Go AX, and Signia Pure Charge&Go T AX.

Operational enhancements and additional staff at new Metro Park, NJ office

In addition to product updates, Signia is committed to delivering more reliable and timely service to help HCPs’ businesses run even better throughout the year. In addition to training new staff and enhancing system functionality, in March 2023, Signia will open its new office in Metro Park, NJ, to better serve HCPs.
